Still thinking of Haiti

The Conference of Donor Countries took place at The United Nations last week and plans continue to be put forth on how to rebuild a country.  Following the devastating earthquake, CheckoutART did an interview with Leah Gordon and dedicated the article to the memory of Haitian artist Louko.  Imagine my surprise (i.e. what a small world) when Montreal-based artist Karine Giboulo (on CheckoutART as well) e-mailed me to tell me she had met Louko while on a trip to Haiti.  Karine was kind enough to send me two pictures of the artist.
