Cool Art – The Peace Art Project Cambodia
In 1998, Cambodia ended a thirty year civil war. This was followed by a collective effort to gather all the weapons. In 2003, two Brits, Sasha Constable (an artist) and a small weapons specialist, Neil Wilford, established the Peace Art Project Cambodia (PAPC) based in the capital, Phnom Penh. The idea: Gather as many of these weapons of destruction as possible and create works of art. These are some of the very cool results.
